  2. b Data collection was attempted for all different vehicles (n = 149) and when available it was then extrapolated to the advertisements shown in the magazines.

  4. d "Greenhouse" and "Air Pollution" ratings are on a scale from 0.5 (worst, most polluting) to 10 (best) based on their CO2 emissions and other air pollutant emissions. These were obtained from an official Australian website [10].
