The figure shows the 34 chemicals (with m-xylene and p-xylene counted separately) that were identified as having evidence of endocrine active properties and the number of times they were detected in the air sampling papers included in this study. The graph show that the BTEX compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes) were among the most frequently detected, and the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were less frequently detected in air samples
