Models include fetal sex (except in the models for the outcomes at birth), maternal age, pre-pregnancy body mass index, educational level, ethnicity, parity, smoking habits and alcohol consumption during each trimester, daily caloric intake and folic acid supplement use. *p-value< 0.05; †p-value< 0.020
